Then we moved to Timaru on December 2020 and I was thinking that the only Swim School in Timaru was CBay, so I signed here there for almost 1 year and never like it. She was just playing and not learning how to swim.
A friend told me about Kevin and the Aoraki Swim School and I signed up here immediately. In ONLY 3 lessons, my daughter starts already swimming without touching the bottom of the pool.
Since then she has been improving so much and now she is jumping from the boat and swimming in the deep sea without asking for help. She is swimming at Kevin twice a week and I’m looking to increase it to 3 times soon!
Selene has a very strong character and she needs a tough person. Kevin is just perfect for her!
From the swim instructor
- Swim 12 meters using her arms in the freestyle action completing 3 strokes then rolling onto her back counting to 4 then back onto her front then doing the same until the length was completed.
- Blow bubbles out her nose.
- Complete 12 meters backstroke.
- Dive to the 1 meter to the bottom of the pool which is one of her favorite things to do.
